Gloria K. Parker of Kinston and Nathaniel Parker of Cleveland, Ohio, announce the engagement of their daughter, Cheri Parker of Kinston, to James Clark of Atlanta, son of Hazel Arnold of Kinston and the late Josephine Clark, Lonnie Clark and Jesse Arnold. An Oct. 12 wedding will be held at New Hope Church Ministries in Kinston.
