Tina Hughes of Raleigh and Bryan Hanks of Kinston proudly announce their engagement to be married on Sept. 13, 2014 in a beach-front ceremony in Salter Path. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Viola Powers of Jacksonville and the late George Powers, also of Jacksonville. The groom-to-be is the son of Royce Hanks of Thurmond and Betty Jones of Hillsville, Va.
