Linda Chapman of Grifton and Jesse Gray of Newark, N.J., announce the engagement of their daughter, Shaugnessy Nicole Chapman, to Marquet Terrell Sutton, both of Grifton, son of Teresa Ingram of Kinston and Roy Sutton of Williamsburg, Va. An Oct. 18, 2014, wedding will be held at the Community Council for the Arts in Kinston.
