Danny and Teresa Sykes of Kinston announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Marie Sykes, to Richard Alexander Allinen, son of Erica Allinen Heckman of Cove City and Michael Dixon of Vanceboro. A July 12, 2014, wedding will be held at New Testament Baptist Church in Kinston.
